Job Summary
Build strong relationships with young families, supporting them to articulate goals and ambitions, tailoring responses to help each family member thrive. Collaborate with housing, education and employment and peer-work specialists to strengthen young parents’ capacity, confidence and wellbeing, and to improve children’s development. Flexible work arrangement from the office to community settings and homes, using a relational, strengths-based approach to deliver long-term outcomes for families. Eligible candidates will be innovative, creative, flexible, culturally aware, and inclusive, with experience in case management or support work with vulnerable families and a solid understanding of Child Protection, Domestic and Family Violence, and trauma-informed care.
Required Qualifications
- Experience with family services
- Case management or coaching in support work with vulnerable families
- Knowledge of Child Protection and Domestic and Family Violence
- Understanding of ACES and trauma-informed practice
- Ability to work across office and community/home settings
- Cross-team collaboration experience
- Cultural awareness and inclusivity in practice
