Job Summary
Assess families to understand needs, challenges, and goals regarding housing, food insecurity, health, and benefits, then follow through with plans to completion. Provide strength-based, member-directed navigation support onsite at The Gathering Place, making connections and referrals to external programs to achieve stability. Proactively engage in de-escalation, crisis prevention, and mitigation while maintaining a clean, trauma-informed environment. Ensure timely completion of all program effort documentation and data entry. Regularly participate in supervision and team meetings. This onsite, full-time role supports women, gender-diverse people, and their children in building stable lives through home, health, purpose, and community programs.
Required Qualifications
- Motivated and self-driven
- Ability to work autonomously or within a team
- Organized, efficient, reliable, detail oriented
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc), or willingness to learn
- Bilingual with Spanish language proficiency
- Knowledge of homelessness, poverty, women and trans issues
- Knowledge of substance misuse
