Job Summary
Lead and manage the YMCA's Early Learning Readiness program by developing strategic plans, overseeing daily operations, and ensuring compliance with policies. Provide leadership, supervision, and training to staff, volunteers, and interns while recruiting and evaluating program facilitators. Engage families in urban Los Angeles communities through trauma-informed curriculum, workshops on early learning and advocacy, and culturally competent marketing initiatives. Build partnerships with schools, agencies, and university social work interns to support family social-emotional well-being and community development.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Social Work (Master Social Worker) from an accredited school of social work
- at least two years, post grad
- Minimum of two (2) plus years of experience in program management/operations in the area of early childhood
- or upper administration experience in mental health or related non-profit arena
- Infant Child Adult CPR & AED and Basic First Aid certified
- willing to obtain the certification within 60 days of hire
- TB Test clearance
- Knowledge and demonstrated competence in implementing best practices in community development/partnerships
