Job Summary
Complete referral intake processes, request paperwork, and schedule outpatient evaluations and therapy sessions with parents. Explain insurance benefits, discuss funding options, and communicate timely with state agencies and on-site locations to ensure quality of the referral process. Collaborate with teams and engage in events while engaging families to help children succeed through evidence-based therapies. Requires availability Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to work with children birth to age 21. Required Qualifications
- Availability Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
- High School Diploma / GED
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with a wide variety of people
- Must be able to work with children birth to age 21 and their families
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Basic computer skills which includes a working knowledge of keyboarding, database, word processing, spreadsheet, and Internet software
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a very busy environment
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, policies, and other company documents
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of families or employees of organization
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide, in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
- Must maintain regular and punctual attendance
- Must complete tasks in a timely manner
