Job Summary
Organize, facilitate, and document bimonthly information sessions while conducting individual meetings to recruit new foster, therapeutic, resource, and adoptive families. Develop and maintain relationships with civic, faith, and business organizations to build awareness and track new family applications through the regional CHS Ambassadors Program. Coordinate special events, manage public speaking engagements, and follow up on foster care inquiries to increase agency visibility. Utilize data on county need to drive recruitment plans and work with the Marketing Team to execute targeted efforts. Maintain a valid North Carolina driver's license and vehicle for frequent travel and on-site visits, with availability for evenings, weekends, and flexible hours.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree from an accredited college/university
- Bachelor's degree
- Two years of experience in a role that includes recruiting, training, sales, or public speaking and presentations
- Two years of experience in a role that includes recruiting, training, sales, or public speaking and presentations or combination of professional experience combined with lived experience in child welfare system
- Valid NC Driver's license
- Adequate auto insurance
- Access to an operating vehicle
- Ability to lift 50lbs
- Ability to work independently from a home office
- Ability to maintain adherence to deadlines
- Ability to use standard office equipment such as computers, telephones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines
- Ability to transport clients in own vehicle
- Ability to conduct on-site visits
- Ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds
- Availability for occasional evening and weekend hours
- Frequent travel required
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Must be physically able to use standard office equipment such as computers, telephones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines
- Must be physically able to transport clients in own vehicle
- Must be physically able to conduct on-site visits
- Must be physically able to lift/move up to 50 pounds while supporting needs of the clients
- Must be available by telephone and email during specified hours as required
