Job Summary
Provide family preservation therapy services by using evidence-based individual, family, and couples counseling to strengthen family functioning and promote child safety, stability, and permanency. Conduct comprehensive family assessments using standardized tools and clinical interviews to evaluate dynamics, risks, strengths, and treatment needs. Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans in collaboration with community providers, informal supports, internal teams, and families to advance outcomes and ensure continuity of care within established time frames. Manage and respond to client crises and participate in family safety assessments and safety plan development as clinically indicated. Maintain timely, accurate, and thorough clinical documentation in compliance with accreditation standards and Department of Child Services requirements. Participate in case management activities including child and family team meetings, court hearings, and treatment team case reviews. Advocate for the best interests of children and families by identifying service gaps and connecting clients to resources. Represent the agency with referral sources and community partners; engage in ongoing professional development to ensure high-quality service delivery.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in social work, marriage and family therapy, or related human services field
- Current license issued by the Indiana Behavioral Health and Human Services Licensing Board, or license-eligible with full clinical licensure (LCSW, LMHC, LMFT), associate licensure (LSW, LMHCA, LMFTA), or temporary permit to practice in Indiana by date of hire
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Valid driver’s license and proof of vehicle insurance
