Job Summary
Family Preservation Counselor in Southern New Jersey (Lumberton area) providing in-home and community-based crisis intervention and psycho-educational skill-building for families with children at risk or during reunification. Responsibilities include 24/7 phone accessibility for assigned families, risk assessment and intervention planning, supportive and non-judgmental family engagement, delivering concrete services, teaching life skills, facilitating behavioral and cognitive strategies, ensuring timely documentation, and conducting follow-ups at 3, 6, and 12 months. Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree (MA, MS, MSW) in the social service fields or education plus experience working with families and children
- or Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of two (2) years post-degree experience working with families and children
- Valid Driver's License required

- Bilingual strongly preferred
