Job Summary
Conduct thorough medical examinations and assessments to diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, including diabetes, hypertension, and asthma. Provide routine check-ups, preventive care, and initial stabilization for medical emergencies. Educate patients on healthy lifestyles and disease prevention while maintaining accurate medical records. Collaborate with specialists and coordinate care plans as needed. Respond to medical emergencies and engage in community health initiatives. This role requires evening and weekend coverage, travel to multiple locations, and occasional exposure to hazardous materials.
Required Qualifications
- Medical Doctor degree or DO Degree from an accredited institution
- 3 years residency training in Family Medicine
- Current unrestricted State Medical License
- Board certification in Family Medicine
- Current State D.E.A. Certificate
- Current BLS and ACLS certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to continuing medical education and staying informed about advancements in family medicine
- Advanced English
- Flexible to travel per business needs
- Must be able to travel to multiple locations for work
- Must be able to exert regularly up to 10 pounds of force
- Must be able to frequently exert 30 pounds of force
- Must be able to occasionally exert 50 pounds of force
