Job Summary
Conduct outpatient primary care for Medicare Advantage senior populations in Orlando or Jacksonville, FL, with a focus on prevention and maintenance. Manage small panel sizes to see 12-15 patients daily, delivering four well visits per year alongside same-day urgent appointments and transitional care management. Work full-time Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm without hospital duties or on-call rotation. Document encounters using the EMR system, apply ICD-10 coding, and maintain BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to use Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system to document patient encounters
- Knowledge of ICD-10 Coding and STAR measure attainments
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to problem-solve complex and multifaceted situations
- Strong organizational, and task prioritization skills
- Computer literacy on G-Suite products and database programs
- Satisfactory completion of a pre-placement Tuberculosis test
- Medical Doctorate (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.)
- Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Geriatric Medicine
- Medical License in the state of Florida
- DEA License
- Up-to-date CPR Certification (BLS, ACLS, and PALS)
- Full-time employment
- Monday to Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm schedule
- Experience in a Medicare Advantage or an accountable care environment
