Job Summary
Family Practice Physician position at Prairie Band Health Service in Browning, MT (Blackfeet Community Hospital). Flexible hours with day, night, and mid shifts; self-scheduling; local or travel locum tenens welcome. Provide full range of family practice care to patients of all ages; ensure documentation meets IHS Medical Facility, Joint Commission, and CMS standards. Requires Family Practice experience, ability to treat both adult and pediatric patients, and holds a current medical license in an allowed jurisdiction. Certifications including BLS, ACLS, and PALS, plus DEA and NPI are required. Degree/diploma from an approved medical program and English proficiency with cultural awareness of Native American/Alaskan Native communities. Additional duties may be added as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Family Practice experience required
- Experience treating both adult and pediatric patients required
- License/Registration in state, DC, PR, or US territories
- Current BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications
- DEA
- NPI
- Degree or Diploma from an approved medical program
- English language proficiency
- Cultural awareness of Native American/Alaskan Native patients
