Job Summary
Family practice physician responsible for providing patient-centered preventative care, diagnosing and treating acute and chronic conditions, and care coordination in a team-based environment. Requires the ability to work in high-pressure situations and effectively engage with diverse patient populations, including those with mental health or substance use disorders. Must be licensed and board certified as a Physician (MD/DO) in Washington, with a focus on collaborative care, maintaining HIPAA compliance, and completing clinical paperwork timely. Preference for candidates with additional certifications and experience in community health.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited School of Medicine or Osteopathy
- Completion of Residency
- Licensed as a Physician (MD/DO) with Washington State Department of Health
- Board Certified
- Current BLS Certification
- DEA License issued in the State of Washington
Desired Qualifications
- Nexplanon Contraceptive Implant Certification
- 2 years of clinical practice experience in community health, FHQC, family practice
- Bilingual skills
- Experience prescribing buprenorphine or other treatments for opioid use disorders, including past completion of a buprenorphine waiver certification course or specific continuing education to satisfy the requirements for the DEA's Medication Access and Training Expansion (MATE) Act
