Job Summary
Provide low-risk obstetric care and prenatal services, with a workload of approximately one delivery per week. Alternate between primary OB coverage and clinic duties, with the option to supplement with ER or hospitalist work if desired. Manage a schedule of four weeks on and four weeks off, with no requirement for high-risk OB management. This role is based in a rural, remote town northwest of Anchorage, Alaska, featuring no state income tax and access to unique wildlife experiences. The employer covers travel for every work block and provides furnished housing.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited medical school with a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree
- Successful completion of the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM) certification exam
