Job Summary
Family Practice Physician opening in Ocala, FL for a primary care role. The position includes an annual salary in the $260k–$270k range with comprehensive benefits, license/certification reimbursement, and CME support. Responsibilities include providing preventive, acute, and chronic care to patients, conducting histories and physicals, developing treatment plans, prescribing medications, and serving as supervising physician for mid-level practitioners under a collaborative practice agreement. Work schedule includes Monday–Tuesday and Thursday 8 am–5 pm, Wednesday 8 am–6 pm, and Friday 8 am–4 pm (no nights, weekends, or on-call). Additional duties include health services such as workers’ compensation evaluations and pre-employment physicals, wellness education, and maintaining patient confidentiality.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation From an Accredited Medical School
- Board Eligible or Board Certified
- Current and Unrestricted Florida Medical License
- Dispensing License (Florida) or Willing to Obtain one Prior to Start Date if Hired
- DEA License
- BLS Certification for Healthcare Providers
- Experience in Primary or Urgent Care Setting
- Perform GYN Care and Well Women Exams
