Job Summary
Family Practice physician sought to serve underserved populations in Florence, Oregon (0.8-1.0 FTE). Role involves providing comprehensive Family Medicine care, with potential low-intensity newborn call, and participation in an integrated wellness and clinician-support program. On-site resources include palliative care, women’s health, wound care, social work, integrated behavioral health, care management, diabetes education, and scribe services. Eligible candidates have an MD or DO (or foreign equivalent), completed a U.S. or Canadian Family Medicine residency, hold an unrestricted Oregon medical license (or be able to obtain one prior to hire), and certification in BLS/ACLS/PALS within 30 days. Required Qualifications
- M.D. or D.O. or foreign equivalent degree
- Successful completion of an ACGME or AOA-accredited U.S. Family Medicine Residency or RCPSC-accredited Canadian Family Medicine Residency
- Unrestricted license to practice medicine in Oregon (or ability to obtain unrestricted license to practice medicine in Oregon prior to hire)
- Certification in BLS, ACLS or PALS required as a condition of employment within 30 days of hire
