Job Summary
Family Practice physician (MD/DO) at PeaceHealth Florence (0.8-1.0 FTE). Provides primary care to the underserved populations in Florence, Oregon, with potential to take low-intensity newborn call. Supports programs to minimize inbox burden and boost clinician well-being, including Inbox Clinician program and Clinician Well-being program. On-site resources include Palliative Care, Women's Health, Wound Care, Social Work, Integrated Behavioral Health, Care Management RN, Diabetic Educator, and Scribe Service (DAX). Benefits include First Year Salary Guarantee of $323,065.60 (based on 1.0 FTE) with opportunity to increase compensation, competitive production-based pay, employment bonus, relocation assistance, and education loan reimbursement. Requires MD/DO or foreign equivalent, appropriate residency training in Family Medicine, and an unrestricted license to practice in Oregon (or ability to obtain). BLS/ACLS/PALS certification within 30 days of hire is required. Required Qualifications
- M.D. or D.O. or foreign equivalent degree
- Successful completion of an ACGME or AOA-accredited U.S. Family Medicine Residency or RCPSC-accredited Canadian Family Medicine Residency
- Unrestricted license to practice medicine in Oregon (or ability to obtain unrestricted license to practice medicine in Oregon prior to hire)
- Certification in BLS, ACLS or PALS required as a condition of employment within 30 days of hire.
