Job Summary
Research Assistant in Yale's Division of Family Planning supporting clinical and translational projects in reproductive health (contraception and abortion). Responsibilities include recruitment of study participants, scheduling, data collection and management, surveys, data analyses under supervision, and assisting with handling of biospecimens and study visits. Will perform site/home intakes, data entry and reporting, participant follow-ups per protocol, inventory management, and may assist in designing or modifying survey instruments. Preferred skills include familiarity with REDCap and OnCore, phlebotomy experience, and experience with data analysis tools (Stata, SAS, SPSS); strong communication and collaboration with PI, staff, and trainees. Requires willingness to work early/late meetings and adhere to GCP and ethical guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- Active Good Clinical Practices Certification (GCP)
- Demonstrated experience with patient recruitment obtaining informed consent
- Comfortable handling human biospecimens, such as blood tubes
- Proficiency with word processing and data management software
- Produce high-quality work products with minimal supervision
- Positive attitude with strong work ethic and attention to details
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Reliable and punctual, with ability to attend early or late meetings as needed
