Job Summary
Family Planning NP or PA needed to join an FQHC in Buffalo, NY. Provide outpatient reproductive and sexual healthcare to diverse, underserved patients. Perform comprehensive health assessments, develop individualized family planning plans, counsel on contraceptive methods including LARCs, prescribe therapies within scope, insert LARCs (IUDs/implants), collaborate with physicians and other providers, maintain accurate medical records, and ensure compliance with guidelines. Compensation in the $105,000–$115,000 range plus comprehensive benefits, CME support, student loan repayment eligibility, malpractice coverage, and a sign-on bonus.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed and board-certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in New York State
- Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner, Adult Nurse Practitioner, or Physician Assistant
- Experience providing family planning services including LARCs
- Strong clinical knowledge of family planning, reproductive health, and contraceptive options
- Excellent communication, patient education, and counseling skills
- Commitment to compassionate, culturally sensitive, and nonjudgmental care
