Job Summary
Family Physician role based in Austin, TX (with potential relocation assistance). Manage a diverse patient panel delivering acute, chronic, and preventive care; conduct in-office and tele-health visits; participate in weekly clinical rounds; collaborate with in-office and virtual care teams; perform in-office procedures as appropriate; supervise NP/PA colleagues; pursue additional state licensure for virtual primary care across states. Requires board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine or Medicine/Pediatrics, TX state license, and 2+ years outpatient primary care experience. Commitment to human-centered care, effective use of technology in care delivery, and ability to work with diverse patient populations.
Required Qualifications
- Board certified in Family Medicine or Medicine/Pediatrics
- Completed accredited Family Medicine or Medicine/Pediatrics residency program OR enrolled in such residency
- TX state medical license obtained before start date
- Practiced at least 2 of the last 5 years in an outpatient primary care setting seeing all ages (0+)
- Ability to obtain board certification within 1 year of start date
- Willingness to obtain additional state licensure/credentialing for virtual primary care in additional states
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with diverse patient populations
- Comfort with in-office procedures and tele-health visits
- Commitment to human-centered primary care
- Demonstrated ability to work with multidisciplinary teams
- Familiarity with technology-enabled care
- Openness to feedback and continuous learning
- Ability to navigate uncertain situations with patients and colleagues
- Eligibility to work in the U.S. (E-Verify participation)
