Job Summary
Provide comprehensive primary care to patients enrolled in the Preventive Health Program and Vitality & Longevity Program, conducting initial, annual, and triannual physical examinations using proprietary templates and data analysis. Utilize Accuro EMR for all encounters and Medeo for secure follow-up to ensure compliance and patient satisfaction. Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team supported by a physician associate, reporting to the Director of Patient Care Services and Medical Director. Develop skills in lifestyle medicine, including nutrition, fitness, stress management, and counseling for substance use. Engage in ongoing professional development in motivational interviewing and Bioidentical Hormone Therapy.
Required Qualifications
- Medical degree
- Valid license to practice in Ontario
- Experience in primary care
- Strong interest in preventive medicine
- Strong interest in integrative health
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with Accuro EMR
- Familiarity with Medeo communication tools
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team including highly trained professionals in exercise physiology, nutrition, naturopathic medicine, kinesiology, sports chiropractic and more
- Commitment to ongoing professional development in lifestyle medicine, motivational interviewing, and Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT)
- Postgraduate training in lifestyle medicine, motivational interviewing, and BHRT
