Job Summary
Evaluate and treat patients within the privilege range granted by the PCHS Board, coordinate health promotional activities, and provide necessary patient follow-up for continuity of care. Maintain accurate, complete, and timely documentation within EMR patient charts while assessing grant criteria and incorporating them into patient encounters. Coordinate care with other health care providers when referrals are necessary and adhere to adopted PCHS community health center standards of care. Complete required trainings such as CPR, Mandt, and Mental Health First Aid. Maintain an active physician license with the State of Alaska and board certification, including continuing education requirements. This role supports the mission of strengthening the community through accessible, affordable healthcare at our non-profit Federally Qualified Health Center in Soldotna, AK.
Required Qualifications
- Successful completion of an approved Medical Doctor or Doctor of Osteopathy program
- Board Certified in area of chosen specialty
- Minimum of seven years of family practice
- Minimum of three years experience in a clinic setting
- Active physician license with the State of Alaska
- Maintain board certification including continuing education requirements
