Job Summary
Provide primary care to a broad patient panel including acute, chronic, and well visits, treating patients in-office, in testing centers, and via tele-health; participate in weekly Clinical Rounds and collaborate with in-office and virtual clinical teams; perform in-office procedures as appropriate; supervise NP/PA colleagues; and obtain additional state licensure/credentialing for virtual primary care in other states as One Medical expands. Requires residency in Family Medicine or Medicine/Pediatrics, 2 of the last 5 years in outpatient primary care, board certification or eligibility with plan to certify within 1 year, and TX medical license prior to start date. Full-time role based in Austin, TX with potential relocation support.
Required Qualifications
- Enrolled in, or completed, an accredited Family Medicine or Medicine/Pediatrics residency program
- Practiced at least 2 of the last 5 years in an outpatient primary care setting seeing patients aged 0+
- Board certified in Family Medicine or Medicine/Pediatrics, or Board Eligible with plans to obtain board certification within 1 year of start date
- TX state medical license obtained before start date
- Willingness to obtain additional state licensure/credentialing for virtual primary care across states
- Ability to supervise one or more NP or PA colleagues
- Strong communication and teamwork skills; patient-centered care approach
- Comfort with in-office procedures and tele-health modalities
