Job Summary
Build trusting relationships with families through peer support by sharing lived experience to inspire hope and recovery. Help families navigate behavioral health services and community resources while collaborating with care teams to support children. Assist families in developing natural support systems and complete accurate, timely documentation. Participate in team meetings and other duties as assigned. Work Monday through Friday in a hybrid model across Maine.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Lived experience as a family member of someone who has received services for a mental health diagnosis
- willingness to self-identify in this role
Desired Qualifications
- Current Maine OCFS Family Support Specialist certification
- willingness to complete required CORE training and obtain certification within 9 months
