Job Summary
Family Partner provides hopeful, practical support to parents/caregivers of youth with emotional/behavioral health challenges in a community-based setting. Responsibilities include offering information, encouragement, and one-to-one guidance; assisting caregivers in planning for their child’s strengths and needs; helping families access resources and services; and collaborating with other providers to support youth. Requires lived experience as a parent/primary caregiver, a valid driver's license with reliable vehicle, strong communication, adaptability, and the ability to work independently in Framingham/Framingham Waltham areas. Eligible candidates earn hourly pay with a sign-on bonus, comprehensive benefits, tuition/CEU reimbursements, and paid time off.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Lived experience as a parent/primary caregiver of a youth involved in the Mental Health system
- Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle
- Knowledge of behavioral health systems and services, DMH, and DCF resources, special education law and services, and other social service resources
- Bilingual a plus but not required
