Job Summary

Support parents and caregivers of youth with behavioral health needs by leveraging personal lived experience to navigate systems, build resilience, and connect families to formal and community resources. Provide peer support, educate families on child-serving systems like DCF and DMH, and foster culturally responsive environments through active supervision and ongoing training. Collaborate with care teams during family planning meetings while maintaining accurate documentation. Requires a high school diploma or degree with relevant experience, knowledge of child-serving systems, and a valid driver's license. Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is preferred.

Required Qualifications

  • You have personal experience as a caregiver of a youth with special or behavioral health needs
  • You have a High School diploma/GED and at least 2 years of experience working with children/adolescents/transition-age youth
  • OR an Associate's Degree and 1 year of relevant experience
  • OR a Bachelor's Degree and 1 year of relevant experience
  • You are knowledgeable about navigating child and family-serving systems
  • You have strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
  • You are comfortable using electronic systems and documentation tools
  • You are culturally responsive and value diverse lived experiences
  • You have a valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle

Desired Qualifications

  • Bilingual- fluent in English and Spanish (Preferred)
