Job Summary
Family Partner for the CASP, a therapeutic after-school program for youth ages 7-13. The role involves supervising children during activities, intervening during crises using appropriate techniques (including WELLE restraint), driving the program van and accompanying other staff, documenting daily progress, and conducting outreach to families in homes and communities. The position requires lived experience as a parent or direct caregiver of a youth with significant needs, and bilingual Spanish proficiency. Part-time, 20 hours per week. Education options include an Associate’s degree in a human-service field with related experience or a high school diploma/GED with additional relevant experience. Required Qualifications
- Associates degree in a human service field and one year of related experience with target population OR High School diploma/GED and a minimum of two years relevant experience
- Experience as a caregiver of a youth with special needs (preferably mental health needs)
- Applicants must have at least one year of experience working with school age children
- Bilingual Spanish required (please indicate language skills on application)
- Valid Mass drivers license and offsite travel required
