Job Summary
Family Partner needed for NSCS Children’s After School Program (CASP). Paraprofessional role offering supervision of youth ages 7-13, crisis intervention using approved techniques, driving program van with other staff, documenting progress, and outreach to families. Requires lived experience as a parent or direct caregiver, associates degree in a human-service field (or HS diploma with relevant experience), and bilingual Spanish. Part-time 20 hours/week in Revere, MA with benefits including PTO, health/dental, retirement, and loan forgiveness eligibility. Emphasis on behavior management, group facilitation, and liaison with caregivers.
Required Qualifications
- Associates degree in a human service field and one year of related experience with target population OR
- High School diploma/GED and a minimum of two years relevant experience.
- Experience as a caregiver of a youth with special needs (preferably mental health needs).
- Applicants must have at least one year of experience working with school age children
- Bilingual Spanish required
- Valid Mass drivers license and offsite travel required.
