Job Summary
Functional Support Specialist delivers rehabilitative and clinical services to youth with severe and persistent mental illness across settings such as community venues, homes, and office environments. Provides therapies including Functional Support Services (FSS) and Illness Management and Recovery (IMR), performs crisis stabilization, documents interventions per established protocols, and collaborates with clients, families, and community providers. Maintains professional and ethical standards, engages in supervision, stays informed about insurance policies and agency fees, and participates in ongoing training and development. Bachelor's degree in human services or related field required; valid driver’s license and vehicle liability coverage required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in human services or related field (Social Work, Psychology, Education)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to utilize technology provided to perform requirements of the job
- Hold a valid driver’s license and proof of vehicle liability coverage
