Job Summary
The Family Nurse Practitioner with RX Authority participates with a multi-disciplinary team to provide comprehensive History and Physicals for patients and ongoing medical services. This role involves serving in a consulting capacity to staff and healthcare providers, initiating medication for physical conditions, and providing medical updates and consultations as necessary. The candidate must possess advanced knowledge of treatment modalities for mental health and substance abuse issues, and demonstrate the ability to practice independently within Colorado statutes. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential for success in this position.
Required Qualifications
- Master of Nursing degree in Family Medicine
- Licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in the State of Colorado
- Prescriptive authority
- Completion of necessary supervised hours to obtain prescriptive authority
- Maintains DEA number
Desired Qualifications
- X-Waiver (DATA 2000) preferred
