Job Summary
Telehealth Weekend Family Nurse Practitioner delivering patient-centered care via a remote platform across the USA. Independent provider for weekend shifts (every weekend preferred, or every other weekend). Requires an accredited Family Nurse Practitioner program, NBCR certification, and multi-state licensure/compact privileges. Duties encompass evaluating primary and acute care patients aged 18 months and older, counseling on contraception and STI prevention, documenting in EHR, coordinating care with internal/external teams, and supporting clinic operations and revenue cycle. Remote USA-friendly with a focus on quality, safety, patient education, and HIPAA-compliant care. Shift flexibility includes multiple time slots and potential 10–12 hour days; BLS required; strong communication and organizational skills essential.
Required Qualifications
- Masters Degree in Family Nurse Practitioner program with current National Board Certification and State license to practice in Advanced Practice Nurse role
- Completion of a Masters Degree level Family Nurse Practitioner program with current National Board Certification and State Employment license to practice in the Advanced Practice Nurse role required.
- Minimum of two years of medically-relevant experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Unrestricted license and ability to obtain multi-state/compact privileges and licensure in noncompact states as required by the business
- Proficient with information management and technology; experience with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems
- Strong verbal, written, and electronic communication skills; outstanding organizational skills; ability to multi-task; initiative and problem solving ability
- Ability to work without direct supervision and practice autonomously
- Capacity to collaborate with professional colleagues to provide quality care
- High-speed broadband connectivity (minimum 25 Mbps download, 3 Mbps upload)
- English language proficiency (conversational)
- Weekend shift availability (9:00-17:30, 12:00-20:30, 14:00-22:30, or 10- or 12-hour shifts)
