Job Summary
Family Nurse Practitioner at Baptist Health Urgent Care provides comprehensive care to patients of all ages with acute and chronic conditions, performing medical assessments and procedures (including laceration repairs, injections, pap tests, splinting, and abscess drainage) while coordinating with on-site labs and imaging, delivering team-based emergency leadership, and ensuring compliance with medical standards and policies in a fast-paced urgent care setting; requires active APRN license, FNP board certification, DEA, DOT (or willingness to obtain), and BLS. The role is full-time with rotating 36–40 hour weeks and benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Active state license as an APRN
- Current Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) Board Certification
- Current DEA license, or eligibility to obtain upon hire
- Current DOT certification, or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Current BLS certification
