Job Summary
Conduct primary care services as part of a multi-disciplinary team, including examining patients, analyzing records and test results, and diagnosing or preventing illness. Prescribe treatment, administer medications and vaccinations, and manage labs and referrals while collaborating with physicians, nurse practitioners, and support staff. Explain procedures and treatment plans to patients, perform other job-related duties as required by departmental needs, and maintain valid NY State licensure, CDS, DEA, and BLS credentials.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of an approved/accredited educational program for Nurse Practitioners
- Valid NY State license
- CDS
- DEA
- BLS
- Ability to effectively communicate
- Ability to follow established procedures and protocols
