Job Summary
Administer ordered therapies according to prescriber orders, facility protocols, and company policies. Perform physical assessments for new consults, document all pertinent data in medical records, and report significant changes to the Center Director. Evaluate patient response to therapy, educate patients and families on treatment plans, and participate in the Quality Improvement program. Ensure medication orders are complete and accurate prior to treatment while maintaining HIPAA confidentiality. Provide clinical coverage for nurse practitioners on PTO/LOA and support new market launches as needed. Requires an MS in Nursing, active NP license, and IV experience. Monday through Friday, 8am to 4pm.
Required Qualifications
- MS in Nursing
- minimum of 2 years of nursing experience
- any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background
- Experience with IVs
- Current, active, valid and unrestricted NP license to practice as a healthcare professional within the scope of license in applicable state
- active, current and valid Family Nurse Practitioner Certification
- Multi-state licensure
- Satisfactory completion of a Tuberculosis test
- Hepatitis B vaccine or signed waiver
- Ability to obtain credentialing with major payors in the market including Medicare/Medicaid
- Experience with IV insertion and maintenance
- Port, PICC, and Peripheral Line experience
- Infusion reaction management experience
- Titration experience
- Medication mixing and infusion experience
- Must be within a reasonable commuting distance from the posting location(s)
- COVID-19 vaccination
- Influenza vaccination
