Job Summary
Diagnose, treat, and educate patients with acute and chronic conditions while performing procedures such as laceration repairs, injections, and splinting. Manage clinic operations by overseeing laboratory services, x-rays, and collections, and provide leadership during emergencies. Establish and monitor medically appropriate care levels for primary care, urgent care, occupational health, DOT physicals, and workers compensation cases. Ensure compliance with licensing and accrediting bodies while participating in policy development and staff education. Maintain clinical core competency and support medical assistants in delivering quality professional services.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Active state license as an APRN or PA
- Current Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) Board Certification
- Current DEA license, or eligibility to obtain upon hire
- Current DOT certification, or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Current BLS certification
