Family Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant - Urgent Care

Evaluate and treat patients with acute minor medical illnesses and chronic exacerbations. Perform minor office procedures including incision and drainage and laceration repair, as well as wellness, preoperative, work-related, and sports physicals. Order diagnostic labs and imaging as needed. Thoroughly document every patient encounter and manage care to maintain team productivity. Requires DOT certification within 30 days. Works 7–12 hour shifts per two-week pay period. Collaborate with a supportive team of physicians and medical staff at one of 44 CareFirst locations.
