Job Summary
Deliver high-quality health care in clinic and telehealth settings while meeting targeted patient volume goals. Lead clinic staff in behaviors and attitudes to ensure excellent patient care, and actively engage with clinical leadership to resolve concerns. Analyze patient histories, symptoms, and diagnostic information to formulate accurate diagnoses and develop appropriate treatment plans. Order, perform, or interpret diagnostic tests, responsibly prescribe medications, and educate patients on continued care for acute and chronic conditions. Ensure accurate chart completion, adhere to clinical protocols, and maintain compliance with federal and state regulations including HIPAA. Welcome new employees, facilitate introductions, and provide job shadowing and coaching opportunities. Work in a fast-paced, autonomous environment, either on-call periodically or in 12-hour shifts every other weekend depending on employment status.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN) and/or master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies (MMS)
- At least 1-2 years of experience as a provider in a relevant practice, such as Urgent Care or Occupational Medical Facility, ER or Trauma Unit, Family Medical Practice
- Current License or Certification
- License and DEA must be active, in good standing, and verifiable with the proper regulatory agency
- DEA required for all providers
- DOT certification is required to be obtained by FT and PT Providers within 120 days of employment and maintained during employment
- PRN Employees are required to work a minimum of 4 shifts per month
- Full Time Employees are required to work 12-hour shifts and every other weekend
- Responsible for on call periodically throughout the year
- Level 1: New Grad with up to 1 years of experience as a nurse practitioner; new grad Physician's Assistant with up to 1 years of experience as a physician's assistant
- Level 2: Nurse practitioner with over 1 years of experience and less than 5 years of experience; Physician's assistant with over 1 years of experience and less than 5 years of experience as a physician's assistant
- Level 3: Nurse practitioner with over 5 years of experience and less than 10 years of experience; Physician's assistant with over 5 years of experience and less than 10 years of experience as a physician's assistant
- Level 4: Nurse practitioner with over 10 years of experience; Physician's assistant with over 10 years of experience as a physician's assistant
- Providers must be able to treat all ages
- meet any credentialing requirements needed
- must meet the minimum years of practice under state law for obtaining DEA
- must be able to obtain DOT certification within 120 days of employment
