Job Summary
Family-friendly clinic role in Wendover, UT for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (PRN) delivering primary care. Responsibilities include autonomous and collaborative patient care, history and physical exams, ordering diagnostic/therapeutic procedures, coordinating referrals, medication reconciliation, administering medications and injections, patient education, triaging calls, onboarding care staff, maintaining medical records, and adhering to scope-of-practice regulations. Requires NP/PA licensure, DEA number, active national certification, and BLS; experience with Native American communities is preferred. Schedule typically 12-hour shifts within 8:00 am–8:00 pm Monday–Friday, with after-hours support as needed; reasonable housing/transportation assistance may be available given remote location.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing; and successful completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
- Possession of a valid DEA number.
- Possession of a State Registered Nurse License with the ability to prescribe controlled substances (APRN, APRN-CS).
- Possession of an active National Certification credential (e.g., AANP, ANCC, PA-C, etc.).
- BLS Provider/CPR
