Family Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant - Flexible Schedules

Job Summary
Deliver high-quality health care in clinic and telehealth settings while leading clinic staff in behaviors, actions, and attitude to ensure excellent patient care. Analyze patient histories, symptoms, and diagnostic information to formulate accurate diagnoses, order and interpret tests, and prescribe medications for acute and chronic conditions. Maintain accurate patient charts, adhere to clinical protocols, and consult through virtual communication channels to meet targeted patient volume goals. Welcome new employees, facilitate introductions, and provide job shadowing and coaching opportunities to support their training. Work in a fast-paced, autonomous environment while maintaining compliance with federal, state, and company regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN) and/or master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies (MMS)
- At least 1-2 years of experience as a provider in a relevant practice, such as Urgent Care or Occupational Medical Facility, ER or Trauma Unit, Family Medical Practice
- Active, in good standing, and verifiable License and DEA with proper regulatory agency
- DOT certification to be obtained by FT and PT Providers within 120 days of employment and maintained during employment
- Family Nurse Practitioner License
- Physicians Assistant License
- Ability to treat all ages
- Ability to meet any credentialing requirements needed
- PRN Employees are required to work a minimum of 4 shifts per month
- Full Time Employees are required to work 12-hour shifts and every other weekend
- Responsible for on call periodically throughout the year
- Level 1: New Grad with up to 1 years of experience as a nurse practitioner; new grad Physician's Assistant with up to 1 years of experience as a physician's assistant
- Level 2: Nurse practitioner with over 1 years of experience and less than 5 years of experience; Physician's assistant with over 1 years of experience and less than 5 years of experience as a physician's assistant
- Level 3: Nurse practitioner with over 5 years of experience and less than 10 years of experience; Physician's assistant with over 5 years of experience and less than 10 years of experience as a physician's assistant
- Level 4: Nurse practitioner with over 10 years of experience; Physician's assistant with over 10 years of experience as a physician's assistant
- In Mississippi, pre-employment/drug/alcohol testing as a condition of employment
- Applicants are limited to individuals from states, excluding: California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, Washington, and the District of Columbia
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred experience working as a Telehealth Clinician
- Experience in Urgent Care or Occupational Medical Facility, ER or Trauma Unit, Family Medical Practice is strongly preferred
