Family Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant

Evaluate and treat patients with acute minor medical illness and minor acute exacerbations of chronic illness. Perform minor office procedures, such as incision and drainage and laceration repair, while conducting wellness, preoperative, work-related, and sports physicals. Manage patient care to maintain productivity equivalent to staff peers and thoroughly document every encounter. Order diagnostic labs and imaging as needed. DOT Certification required within 30 days of employment. CareFirst employs over 150 mid-level providers, each assigned a collaborative physician available at all times for clinical support.
