Job Summary
Provide medical care to patients of all ages in an urgent care setting, including diagnosing, treating, and educating patients with acute and chronic conditions. Roles require collaboration with a healthcare team, leadership during emergencies, and flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment with varying hours and locations. Responsibilities include performing medical assessments and procedures (e.g., laceration repairs, injections, pap tests), overseeing on-site labs and imaging, ensuring compliance with medical policies and accreditation standards, and contributing to staff education and program development. Requires active APRN/PA licensure, board certification as FNP or PA-C, DEA license (or eligibility), DOT certification (or willingness to obtain), and BLS certification. Minimum 1 year of experience as an FNP or PA is required. Full-time schedule entails rotating 36-40 hour weeks with some weekend coverage; benefits provided.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Active state license as an APRN or PA
- Current Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) Board Certification
- Current DEA license, or eligibility to obtain upon hire
- Current DOT certification, or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Current BLS certification
