Job Summary
Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant needed for Ascension Saint Thomas Urgent Care in Clarksville, TN, and related clinics. Provide exemplary patient care across ages with acute and chronic conditions, perform medical assessments, and deliver procedures (e.g., laceration repairs, pap tests, injections, splinting, I&D). Oversee on-site labs and imaging where applicable; ensure compliance with licensing and accreditation standards; collaborate with leadership and staff to maintain quality of care. Role involves leadership during emergencies in a fast-paced environment with varying hours and locations; requires active FNP/PA-C board certification, DEA license or eligibility, DOT certification or willingness to obtain, and BLS. Schedule includes full-time rotating 36-40 hours/week with every-other weekend; PRN options available. Benefits listed for full-time and PRN positions.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Active state license as an APRN or PA
- Current Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) Board Certification
- Current DEA license, or eligibility to obtain upon hire
- Current DOT certification, or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Current BLS certification
