Family Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant - $5k Sign-On Bonus

Job Summary

Deliver high-quality health care in clinic and telehealth settings while meeting patient volume goals and interpreting diagnostic tests to formulate accurate diagnoses. Lead clinic staff in behaviors and attitude to ensure excellent patient care, actively engage with clinical leadership to resolve concerns, and implement protocols outlined by Supervising Physicians. Discuss patient histories, symptoms, and medications to provide guidance on treatment for acute and chronic conditions, ensuring all activities comply with Federal, State, and HIPAA regulations. Order, perform, or interpret diagnostic results and responsibly prescribe medications while maintaining friendly relations with clients and employees. Complete mandatory compliance training and monthly meetings with Supervising physicians, and perform other duties as assigned by management.

Required Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN) and/or master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies (MMS)
  • At least 1-2 years of experience as a provider in a relevant practice, such as Urgent Care or Occupational Medical Facility, ER or Trauma Unit, Family Medical Practice
  • Current License or Certification
  • License and DEA must be active, in good standing, and verifiable with the proper regulatory agency
  • DEA required for all providers
  • DOT certification is required to be obtained by FT and PT Providers within 120 days of employment and maintained during employment
  • PRN Employees are required to work a minimum of 4 shifts per month
  • Full Time Employees are required to work 12-hour shifts and every other weekend
  • Responsible for on call periodically throughout the year
  • Applicants are limited to individuals from states, excluding: California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, Washington, and the District of Columbia
  • In Mississippi, Fast Pace requires pre-employment/drug/alcohol testing as a condition of employment

Desired Qualifications

  • Preferred experience working as a Telehealth Clinician
  • Experience in Urgent Care or Occupational Medical Facility, ER or Trauma Unit, Family Medical Practice is strongly preferred
