Job Summary
Full-time Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant role based in Austin, TX with One Medical. Manage a patient panel addressing acute, chronic, and well visits; treat patients in-office or in testing centers and conduct occasional tele-health visits; participate in weekly Clinical Rounds and other learning modalities; collaborate with in-office teammates and virtual clinical teams; perform in-office procedures; and obtain additional state licensure/credentialing for One Medical virtual primary care in additional states. Requires completing an accredited FNP or PA program with national certification and state licensing in Texas. Strong emphasis on human-centered primary care, effective communication with diverse patients, and utilizing technology to deliver high-quality care. Readiness to adapt behavior to meet patient needs and the ability to navigate uncertain situations with patients and colleagues. Relocation assistance may be available.
Required Qualifications
- Completed an accredited FNP or PA program with a national certification
- In the past 5 years, practiced as an Advanced Practitioner for at least: 2 years in an outpatient primary care setting seeing patients of all ages (0+), OR 1 year in an outpatient primary care setting seeing patients of all ages (0+), coupled with either a 1 year primary care fellowship or 1+ year in an urgent care setting seeing patients of all ages (0+)
