Job Summary
Provide comprehensive primary care as a Family Nurse Practitioner under designated physician collaboration and supervision. Perform health assessments, diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and promote disease prevention through education, counseling, and age-appropriate screenings. Maintain patient records, participate in quality assurance, and meet productivity goals while practicing under GVHC medical protocols and BLS/CPR requirements. Experience with immunizations, orderable labs/x-rays, and ability to collaborate with supervising physicians are essential; Spanish language ability is highly desirable.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of Registered Nursing
- Family Nurse Practitioner program
- Certification by the Board of Registered Nursing of California as a Nurse Practitioner
