Job Summary
PRN Family Nurse Practitioner sought to work across multiple clinics in the Cherryville, NC region. Responsibilities include urgent care, primary care, occupational medicine, and telemedicine; minor procedures (toe nail removals, foreign body removals); suturing and splinting; general orthopedic evaluations and management; X-ray review with radiologist over-read; EKG interpretation; general dermatology, eye-related, and GYN care; treating patients of all ages; and emergency management in a fast-paced setting. Flexible scheduling with shifts determined approximately two months in advance; clinic hours vary by location. Qualifications include Family Nurse Practitioner Board Certification and MSN or higher; strong communication skills; EMR and Microsoft Office experience preferred. Compensation described as competitive hourly pay with bonus incentives; includes malpractice insurance, CME allowance, mileage reimbursement, and paid orientation/training.
