Job Summary
Full-time Family Nurse Practitioner to lead a small team in a rural urgent care setting, providing care across age groups with a focus on timely, patient-centered outcomes. Responsibilities include diagnosing and treating respiratory illnesses (cold, flu, strep, COVID), minor procedures (toenail removal, foreign object removal), suturing, splinting, general orthopedic evaluations/management, X-ray review (over-read by radiologist), dermatology and eye care, general EKG interpretations, emergency management, GYN care, occupational medicine, and telemedicine. The role emphasizes practicing to the full scope of the FNP with leadership over medical assistants, delivering care across babies to geriatric patients, and supporting community access to care. Scheduled hours are open across seven days with rotating shifts; high-volume, fast-paced setting with training and ongoing professional development, including tuition and student loan reimbursement grants, and two-year commitment. Board certification and MSN or higher required; DOT certification encouraged with costs covered. New graduates welcome.”,
Required Qualifications
- Family Nurse Practitioner Board Certification required
- MSN, or higher education required
- DOT certified or willing to become DOT certified (we cover the cost of the certification)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working in EMR and Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, etc.) preferred
