Job Summary
Lead Family Nurse Practitioner in an urgent-care setting providing full-scope care to patients of all ages, diagnosing and treating URIs and other conditions, performing minor procedures (nail removal, foreign object removal), suturing, splinting, general orthopedics evaluations/management, radiology review, dermatology, eye issues, EKG interpretations, emergency management, and general GYN and occupational medicine. You will oversee a small team of medical assistants, leverage treatment protocols, and work in a high-volume environment open 7 days a week with rotating shifts. The role supports telemedicine and on-site HQ orientation/training, with a two-year commitment and a strong emphasis on growing your clinical leadership and skills. New graduates are welcome; the organization offers tuition and student loan reimbursement grants and a $5,000 sign-on bonus. DOT certification is covered by the employer, and compensation includes benefits (health, dental, vision), malpractice insurance, CME allowance, and 401k eligibility after 90 days.
Required Qualifications
- Family Nurse Practitioner Board Certification required
- MSN, or higher education required
- DOT certification or willingness to become DOT certified
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with EMR and Microsoft Office preferred
