Job Summary
Family Nurse Practitioner to lead a small team in a high-volume urgent care setting, providing full-scope care to infants through geriatrics across urgent care, primary care, telemedicine, and occupational medicine. The role emphasizes independent decision-making with treatment protocols, leadership of medical assistants, and ongoing professional growth. Responsibilities include diagnosing and treating common infectious and non-infectious conditions, minor procedures (such as suturing and splinting), dermatology and GYN care, EKG interpretation, radiology review, telemedicine, and pediatric care. The position offers an extended schedule with rotating shifts, open 7 days a week, in Augusta, GA (with clinic coverage in related locations as noted). Training and onboarding support are highlighted, including an orientation, pediatric urgent care course, and ongoing clinical decision support to help the provider succeed over a two-year commitment.
Required Qualifications
- Family Nurse Practitioner Board Certification required
- MSN or higher education required
- DOT certification (or willingness to become DOT certified) with company covering the certification cost
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working with EMR and Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, etc.) preferred
