Job Summary
Diagnose and treat patients across all ages, including pediatric urgent care, occupational medicine, and telemedicine. Perform minor procedures such as suturing, splinting, and foreign object removal, while managing general orthopedic evaluations, dermatology, eye problems, and EKG interpretations. Review x-rays and apply emergency management skills to handle any condition within your full scope of practice. Lead a small team of medical assistants and utilize established treatment protocols to guide clinical decision-making. This full-time role includes a rotating schedule covering 362 days annually with extended hours from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on weekends. Board certification and MSN education are required, with support for DOT certification.
Required Qualifications
- Family Nurse Practitioner Board Certification
- MSN, or higher education
- DOT certification or willingness to become DOT certified
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working in EMR and Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, etc.)
