Job Summary
Conduct urgent care, primary medical, and telemedicine services across multiple North GA clinics, including minor surgeries, suturing, splinting, and orthopedic evaluations. Perform general dermatology, eye care, EKG interpretations, and occupational medicine while managing emergency situations and treating patients of all ages. Review x-rays for radiologist over-read. Requires Board Certification, MSN, and EMR proficiency. Schedule shifts two months in advance during extended weekday and weekend hours.
Required Qualifications
- Family Nurse Practitioner Board Certification
- MSN, or higher education
- Must be available for shifts determined two months in advance
- Must work Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
- Must work Saturday and Sunday 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
- Must be available for Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. at KidsStreet Clinic
- Must be available for Saturday and Sunday 9:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. at KidsStreet Clinic
- Must be flexible working with teams in different clinics
- Must provide leadership in a high volume and fast-paced urgent care environment
- Must perform minor surgery (toenail removal, foreign object removal, etc.)
- Must perform suturing
- Must perform splinting
- Must perform general orthopedic evaluations/management
- Must review x-rays (to be over-read by Radiologist)
- Must perform general dermatology
- Must perform general eye problems
- Must perform general EKG interpretations
- Must demonstrate emergency management skills
- Must demonstrate general GYN expertise
- Must treat children of all ages
- Must provide occupational medicine
- Must provide telemedicine
- Must pass standard pre-employment background checks
- Must pass drug screens
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working in EMR and Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, etc.)
