Job Summary
Floating Family Nurse Practitioner across multiple clinics in the North Georgia region to provide patient-focused care in urgent care, primary medical care, telemedicine, and occupational medicine settings. Responsibilities include minor surgery (toe nail removal, foreign object removal), suturing, splinting, general orthopedic evaluations/management, radiology/x-ray review (over-read by Radiologist), dermatology, eye problems, EKG interpretations, emergency management skills, general GYN care, care for children of all ages, occupational medicine, and telemedicine. Schedule features shifts determined two months in advance with clinic hours across MainStreet and KidsStreet clinics, including weekday and weekend coverage. Qualifications require Family Nurse Practitioner Board Certification and MSN or higher; strong written and verbal communication skills; EMR and Microsoft Office experience preferred. Compensation described as competitive hourly pay plus bonus incentives with benefits such as malpractice insurance, CME allowance, mileage, orientation and training, and 401k eligibility after 90 days.
Required Qualifications
- Family Nurse Practitioner Board Certification
- MSN or higher education
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with EMR and Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel) preferred
